A few minutes to Downtown Gatlinburg without all the hustle and bustle of being downtown. GREAT LOCATION - five minutes to only grocery store in Gatlinburg without the traffic of Downtown! Perfect retreat for couples, friends, families and multi-generational families. Three stories with en-suite bathrooms, two decks, and two living rooms, everyone can have their space or gather together in the living room.

Our dining table can seat all of you, up to ten comfortably. Friends and family can enjoy their dining together at the same table.

Situated on a ridge in Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain Ridge is a log cabin with amazing views, updated interior, and a great location. The cabin is nicely laid out with a bedroom on each floor that includes en-suite bathrooms. Bathrooms on the main floor and bottom floor both have dual entrances from the living area and the attached bedroom. The main floor king bedroom with en-suite is ideal for guests that have difficulty going upstairs or downstairs.

The main floor living area also has plenty of seating with two full size sofas, club chair, and dining table to accommodate ten guests on the main floor at the same time.

Huge Bonus Room - with two sofas, 65 inch ROKU HDTV, pool table, arcade game, and a Mini Library. Each bedroom has it's own TV.

With three stories, each with a spacious en-suite bathroom, 2 Decks with views, front porch, and TWO living areas, one on the main floor and one on the first floor, there is plenty of room for everyone to have their space or for gathering of the guests on the main or 1st floor.

LOCATION:
Right off the 321, downtown Gatlinburg a short 5-to-10 minute drive. No SCARY, twisting, bending roads to the cabin. There is an incline once turning on Mountain Shadows Way that straightens until you reach the cabin. Pigeon Forge is a short drive about 15-20 minutes from the cabin through one of the most scenic roads in Gatlinburg. Skip traffic downtown traffic, we are close to restaurants and the grocery store. The ONLY grocery store in Gatlinburg is within minutes of the cabin.

*POOL: 2 community pools open Memorial Day through Labor Day

Check-in is 4pm and check out is 11am. No Pets.

The kitchen is fully stocked with typical supplies. This includes blender, toaster, Keurig, pots/pans, skillets, crockpot, utensils, glasses, wine glasses. We provide limited amounts of toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen trash bags, dish detergent, hair dryers, washing machine pods, shampoo, body soap. Coffee, sugar, and tea provided in limited amounts.

There is a security camera on the front exterior that can view parking area to check third party services arrivals and departures such as pest control, service repair, local deliveries, housecleaning, UPS/FedEx, maintenance, cars parked in front of the cabin are either authorized contractors or guests of the cabin, roof for any fallen branches atop rooftop, and one in the crawl that checks for critters and the bears getting into the crawl space.

++++ Pest control: We treat monthly for Pest control as well as a "Fall Invader" program. We also keep plug-in ultra sonic pest repellants in most rooms, and keep some organic pest satchel deterrents on some of the exterior window sills and decks. Also we keep a dehumidifier in the crawl space that helps deter moisture loving bugs such as centipedes. Regardless of how much we treat, this is the Smoky Mountains and a bug will come in from time to time, particularly with doors open.

Located in Gatlinburg, this cabin is near theme parks and in the mountains. Island at Pigeon Forge is worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and Dollywood. Traveling with kids? Consider Titanic Museum, or check out an event or a game at The Ripken Experience - Pigeon Forge. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Love the Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Southern Hospitality is alive and well here. It's nearly impossible to come to the area and not leave your work and everyday demands behind and submerge yourself into vacation, wander, and relaxation. We wanted to create a retreat with the right property and location to relax and spend time with our family and friends when we have the chance.

About every 2 months or so we are at the cabin for a week or two, mostly updating the cabin and deep cleaning, and some time left over for vacation.

We hope the guests at Smoky Mountain Ridge, be it friends, a couple or couples retreat, girls trip, families enjoy the cabin and Gatlinburg as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

The property is on the edge of town, avoids traffic of downtown Gatlinburg and gives a feeling of seclusion, yet, very close to downtown. Convenient and nearby grocery store, great food, and convenience stores within a few minutes of the cabin.

The layout was appealing, 3 stories gives us the ability to have extended family with us and have enough space and private baths adjoined to our bedroom to give us personal space. The 3rd floor is the master king bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The views are very beautiful, one of our favorite things to do is lounge out on the main deck, watch the rain, listen to sounds of the critters and just hang out together.
